SECURING YOUR WEDDING DATE
Once you have selected your special day, The Allison Inn will prepare a customized contract, outlining your special occasion and deposit schedule. You then have 10 days to review and sign the contract and return it to us with your first deposit payment. Upon receipt of the signed contract and processed deposit, your wedding date is then guaranteed. Deposit amounts vary based on your selected date and anticipated attendance.
FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUM
Newberg, Oregon weddings at The Allison Inn & Spa will have a set food and beverage minimum, which is to be met before our 21% service charge is added. It is not inclusive of room rental or audio-visual charges. Food and beverage minimums vary based on your selected date and anticipated attendance. Food and beverage minimum prices are not quoted more than one year prior to your event date. The Allison Inn is the sole provider of all food and beverage served in our catering facilities. Food, beverage and all audio-visual equipment items are subject to a 20% service charge.
Our Oregon Wine Country wedding destination requires a minimum guest room block of at least 10 rooms on a single night of your wedding event to qualify for a wedding group rate. This room block guarantees a certain number of rooms exclusively for your guests. Your contracted guest room rate and block are guaranteed until 60 days prior to your wedding date. After that period, guests may secure reservations based on availability and at our best available rate. Financial responsibility for rooms not reserved applies and the wedding group rate is not guaranteed once the block has been exceeded. Reservations can be secured by either rooming list or phone-in only. These special rates are net, non-commissionable.
ITEMS INCLUDED WITH YOUR SPECIAL EVENT
In order to ensure your Newberg, OR wedding is memorable and complete, the following items are included in your food and beverage minimum:

- Tables, Chairs, China, Glass & Silver Settings
- Elegant Table Linens by Rivolta Carmignani & Napkins by Frette
- Oak Parquet 16 x 16 Dance Floor
- Rental of the Coppergold Ballroom and Grand Foyer
Please know that we would be very pleased to rent additional upgraded custom linens, china, glassware and flatware to create the perfect ambience for your Newberg, OR wedding reception, but at an additional fee. Please inquire about such upgrades.
You may offer your guests a choice of two pre-selected main entrees, provided a count of each entrée is provided to us at least 7 days in advance of your event. The price will be based upon the higher priced entrée and selections must be identified by a meal indicator card. There is an additional $8 per person fee for four-course meals.
Our Executive Chef would be pleased to create an alternative menu for any guests with dietary restrictions, at no additional cost. Please inquire about specific dietary needs. Please note that our catering menus are simply suggestions. We plan to customize your wedding menu based on seasonal foods, guest preferences, budgetary guidelines, etc.
We are pleased to offer a complimentary menu tasting for up to four guests. You may choose up to three starter courses and three entrée selections for this tasting. Please note, however, that hors d’oeuvres and dessert courses are not available for tastings. Please contact your Catering Manager to schedule your tasting, which can only be conducted within 90 days of your Newberg, Oregon wedding day.
No signs, banners or displays shall be erected or displayed in any part of the resort facilities or property without prior written approval of The Allison Inn. Banners, signs and displays should be free standing without attachment to walls, ceilings or floors. All candlelight must be contained in glass.
WEDDING COORDINATORS & PREFERRED VENDORS
The Allison Inn & Spa provides a Catering Manager to assist in the planning and details of your Oregon Wine Country wedding, as well as a Banquet Director on-site your wedding day to coordinate the services and all dining aspects. Event consultation and on-site coordination of your event is included in your food and beverage minimum. We do, however, require that couples work with a wedding coordinator. We would be happy to provide you with a few recommendations.
The Allison Inn does not employ officiates, florists, decorators, photographers or musicians. However, we will provide a recommended list of resources in which to contract these services. Should you wish to enlist the services of a vendor other than our recommendations, please notify your Catering Manager so we may have them review and sign our established vendor guidelines prior to your wedding day.
In the case of inclement weather, we guarantee to provide an indoor private space for your ceremony. The decision to move inside is ultimately up to the Bride and Groom on their wedding day. The most appropriate location is designated by your Catering Manager on the day of, based on availability.
