Located on thirty-five acres of countryside that is home to Oregon’s most prized vineyards, we found The Allison Resort & Spa. This “five–star” modern Inn is environmentally –conscious, and showcases its bounty in the adjacent vineyards, abundant crops of hazelnuts, blueberries, olive trees, and flower and herb gardens.
A new addition to the Art at The Allison Collection is the sculpture garden showcasing large-scale works created by local artists. The late Joan Austin, a hotelier, philanthropist, and art lover, originally envisioned it. The sculpture garden was curated by Joan Austin’s family, and can be enjoyed by guests all year long.
The resort’s signature restaurant, JORY, features Oregon Wine Country garden- to-table cuisine coupled with an impressive 800-label wine list that has received a Wine Spectator “Best of Excellence Award”. Our afternoon spa experience incorporated the Pinot-inspired wine therapy treatment, infused with antioxidants, which left our skin feeling healthful and refreshed.
Nestled in the beautiful Willamette Valley, a stay at The Allison, along with a tour of their beautiful sculpture gardens, and enjoying tastes of acclaimed Pinot Noir will not disappoint!
