Our Executive Chef, Sunny Jin
Graduating at the top of his class from Portland’s Western Culinary Institute where he received the Grand Toque Award, Chef Sunny Jin went on to complete his externship at Napa Valley’s famed French Laundry, working for three years under renowned chefs Thomas Keller and Corey Lee. He then went on to work at Sydney, Australia’s Tetsuya’s and Catalonia,'s El Bulli before recognizing Oregon as one of the country’s pre-eminent food and wine destinations and settling with JORY. His reverence for seasonality and local produce leads to innovations in garden-to-table dining at The Allison.

The Story of Our House Vintage Wine
JORY is named after the rich, fertile soil in the Willamette Valley and specific to growing pinot noir grapes. A dedication to local food traditions and a celebration of our region's rich wine culture has elevated JORY to become one of the finest Willamette Valley restaurants. JORY is one of the few valley restaurants to produce its own wine. Austin Knoll Pinot Noir represents the best characteristics of this storied wine region: lush cherry and red berry notes are balanced with a subtle minerality and good acidity for a classic Willamette Valley Pinot. We are also pleased to announce another addition, our 2012 Pinot Gris, a dry white wine with fruit flavors of perfumed pear and apple.
On Friday and Saturday, live jazz entertainment sets the tone for the night with a designer cocktail or perhaps end the evening with a night cap. A bar menu is also available for your pleasure.
In-Room Dining from JORY's kitchen is available 24 hours to be enjoyed in the privacy of your accommodations. Items can be selected from the dining room or bar menu along with cocktails and wines by the glass or bottle.
The Best of Oregon Wine Country

JORY's impressive cellar encompasses more than 800 labels and ever-changing extensive wines by the glass menu.
